Gain Muscle Without Getting the “Cheesy” Bodybuilder Look…

If someone was to put a gun to my head and tell me to add 20 pounds of muscle, I would concentrate my efforts on the “big 3″.

What Are The big 3 Lifts?

  1. The Squat
  2. The Deadlift
  3. The Bench Press

But there is a HUGE problem With the “Big 3″

Squats and Deadlifts add a lot of muscle in all the wrong places (your hips, butt and thighs). Bench presses add muscle to your lower pecs causing them to look rounded and droopy.

Here’s a video which explains it in better detail…

If you gain 20 pounds of muscle but 90% of that muscle is on your hips, thighs and butt…you are actually going backwards as far as aesthetics goes.

So just because you CAN add a lot of muscle on your hips thighs and butt, doesn’t mean you SHOULD add as much muscle as possible to those muscle groups.

Another important strategy to looking good is to insure that you don’t have loose skin blurring your muscle definition

Here’s a video showing how to get the “Shrink Wrap Effect”.

Traditional “muscle building” advice gets all of this wrong…

  • The “Big 3″ creates a rounded lower body look, instead of being lean & angular.
  • Bulking up, causes loose skin when leaning out.
  • It is hard to look cool and GQ with too much bulk in the wrong places.

If just gaining muscle created a great look, then there would be a lot more sharp looking people in all of the world’s gyms…

Unfortunately, that is not the case!

Gyms are loaded with meat-heads who may gain respect in the gym, but look kind of “goofy” out in the real world.

“Just the right amount of muscle looks incredible”

Women are turned off by guys with too much muscle. It kind of makes sense…

There is a cheesy “gym” feel to a guy who is too big. Whether wearing a suit, nice jeans, etc…it is hard to look “hip” when a guy takes the wrong approach to building muscle.

Here’s a video which explain why the slim and muscular look is the way to go…

Do NOT be impressed by guys Gaining 20-30 pounds of muscle in 6 months.

You can get there by eating a ton of food and living in the squat rack.

…but you will wind up looking (and feeling) terrible.

Here’s How to Get the “Hollywood Look”

  • Lift using a strategic rep range to get the “Shrink Wrap Effect”.
  • Lift to increase muscle density for angular NOT puffy looking muscles.
  • Add muscle in the right places.
  • Get Ultra-Lean without losing muscle.
