2. Jump Ropes.

Using a skipping rope, or jump rope is another good way to exercise at home. A jump rope exercises your arms, legs and cardiovascular system. It may take a while to learn how to exercise with a jump rope but you will be surprised at how quickly you’ll improve with this fat loss workout. If you don’t have a jump rope you can just visualize that you’re holding one and use the same movements.

3. Free Weights.

For the price of one month gym membership, you can buy some great equipment for your exercises to do at home. Resistance or strength training is often considered one of the best ways to lose weight because muscles burn more calories, even while they are at rest. When you have a set of weights you can do can do a whole variety of different exercises that you may normally do at the gym. This includes bell presses, deadlifts, shoulder presses, raises, rows, bicep curls and more to exercise almost every muscle in your body.

4. Squats.

Perhaps the most popular exercises to do at home for the lower body is squats. Your legs are the largest set of muscles in your body. If you exercise your legs correctly, you’ll tone your lower body and your increase your entire metabolism. This will help you burn fat within your whole body. The most important thing when performing squats is to do them slowly. If you rush the exercise, you will not get the full benefit of the workout. Your upward movement is just as important as your downward movement.
