Depression is a very serious disorder that leads to many and most cases of suicide. Major depression is recognized as one being depressed most of the day and especially in the mornings. These people will usually have less interest than normal in their relationships and in activities that they would normally enjoy. The symptoms of this particular type of depressive state will occur every single day for a minimum of two weeks.

The two common types of depression share similarities in there symptoms.. They include feeling fatigued, constant thought of suicide, loss of interest in day to day activities, extreme weight loss or weight gain, indecisiveness, feeling guilty and worthless, and insomnia.

Both of these depressive disorders can be treated in a number of ways.. Psychological counseling will prove to be effective for many people suffering from these symptoms. However, if you find this not to be right for you then there are medications available too.
