Kale is great to cook with because it is really low in calorie. It’s also high in fiber and has zero fat. Wow! Sounds incredible right? One cup of kale has only 36 calories, 5 grams of fiber and 0 grams of fat. This veggie has so much fiber in it , it helps you with digestion. Kale is also filled with so many different nutrients, vitamins, folate and magnesium. Kale is low in carbohydrates which are great for those who are trying to lose weight.

Kale is a great source of many vitamins. Kale is high in Vitamin K. Eating a diet high in Vitamin K can help protect against many types of cancer. A regular consummation of the daily dose of Vitamin k is also necessary for normal bone health and prevention of blood clots. Kale is also high in Vitamin A. This great vitamin is awesome for someones skin and eye sight. It can also help prevent against lung and oral cavity cancers. Being that Kale is loaded with Vitamin C which is awesome for your metabolism and immune system. Kale has ten times more vitamin C than spinach.Kale can provide you with some special cholesterol-lowering benefits if you will cook it by steaming. The fiber-related components in kale do a better job of binding together with bile acids in your digestive tract when they’ve been steamed.

Kale is filed with great amounts of powerful antioxidants such as carotenoids and flavonoids. These foods can protect a person against cancer. Kale is also a great source of omega-3. The great thing about Omega-3 is it can help fight autoimmune disorders, asthma and arthritis. The leafy green is great for the heart. It reduces cholesterol levels. kale is loaded with calcium. Per calorie, kale has more calcium than milk. This sufficient amount of calcium aids in preventing bone loss and preventing osteoporosis.
