When It Says Gluten Free, Does That Mean It Might Be Wheat Free?

It’s not as straightforward as being wheat free, or gluten free. You will find that there is a gluten free diet, a wheat free diet, or you could be both gluten and wheat free. It will all depend on exactly what you want to remove from your diet – just gluten, just wheat, or both wheat and gluten. However I can say that if there is the choice, it’s a lot easier to start with removing wheat than gluten.

Gluten free food that is store bought doesn’t always contain the healthiest ingredients. Manufacturers try to make gluten free food look, feel, and taste exactly like traditional food but to do that, they need to use ingredients which should not really be used.

Food that doesn’t have gluten shouldn’t need to be identical to traditional food. The fact is, it’s not the same, and it shouldn’t appear exactly the same, feel the same, nor look the same.

Just because a food is made without gluten, and doesn’t look exactly like regular food, doesn’t mean it tastes awful.

It is possible to take the gluten out of wheat, but whatever you are making will still have wheat in it. For instance, consider something that you have baked that’s prepared without gluten, keep in mind that it’ll still have wheat.

Buyer beware.

Watch out for and avoid gluten free food that contains cornstarch, potato starch, rice starch, and tapioca starch. These additions may be just as unhealthy for you as gluten would be to your system.

Pre-made, pre-packaged food may not be the best answer for you when you are gluten intolerant and want to remain healthy.

In order to be both, you should always read the label (list of ingredients) thoroughly. Simply because the box says it doesn’t contain one ingredient, does not mean it doesn’t contain the other.

We decided that it was safer, easier, and healthier to go wheat free. We found that it was difficult to get good tasting food that doesn’t have gluten. Once we completely eliminated both from the diet, it got much simpler to improve our eating habits. Now we look and feel a lot better.

We solved our problem!

Alright, so now that you’ve removed wheat – exactly what can you have now?

Seems it’s not a problem whatsoever. You will see that nearly all of what you eat is protein, fruit, and vegetables.

That appears to be restrictive, but you are going to discover that there’s a huge range of food which you can pick from, and a huge variety of things that you may make using these foods.

Eating an all-natural and healthy diet is the best thing that you can do for you.

Food That Is Natural.

By consuming real, natural food like eggs, seeds, raw nuts, fish, fowl, meat, vegetables, fruit, avocados, olives, and healthy oils like olive oil, walnut oil, coconut oil, you’re going to be doing both you and your system a favor.

For more flavor, feel free to add some spices and herbs.

An additional benefit is that whenever you go all-natural, and start using natural fat sources, you will naturally lose a few pounds.

And, eating natural raw food is probably the most healthy way to eat.

You need to avoid all processed food, unhealthy foods, and take out restaurants.

By wiping out wheat from your diet, you will be eliminating the root of the unpleasant hunger cycles.

You’ll eat less food, and you won’t feel hungry in between meals. If you do get hungry, it will probably be a more subtle hunger. Envision living without any annoying hunger cycles (you eat your breakfast at 7am, but won’t feel hungry again by 10am, and again two to three hours afterwards, and so forth).

An added bonus – you won’t have sugary cravings.

Do you recall ever actually tasting your meal? Well, you will notice that sensation will return, and you’ll love the flavor of your food once again.

It may take at least four weeks for your body to get familiar with a new way of eating – it’s a new habit so you should give it the opportunity. Stick to the strategy for at least a month.

Before you know it, you’ll very rarely experience hunger pains, you will enjoy your meals, you will not feel full and bloated right after eating, and you are not going to have a desire for sugary treats. Best of all, you may begin to drop weight without having to scale back on your serving sizes.

Going wheat free and/or gluten free means that you will save on food, and enjoy a healthier way of eating.

Your upset stomach or indigestion may not require medical assistance. It may simply be a dietary issue of gluten intolerance, dairy intolerance, or wheat intolerance. The solution is actually quite simple. Check it out.
